In October, one of our Senior Project Managers reached a major milestone with the organization. We want to recognize Brandon Simchuk for 20 years of dedication and celebrate the numerous achievements that mark his tenure with Selectron.

In 2003, Brandon Simchuk started working at Selectron Technologies as an onsite Installation and Training Specialist. Brandon sums up that era in his career fondly. “Installing was a blast. Mike Hannegan, our VP of Technical Solutions, took me under his wing crimping phone lines and checking servers onto planes to take out to customer sites.” He enjoyed traveling to visit clients and meeting people from all over the country. Mike Hannegan recalls, “Brandon was able to just take the position and run with it. Starting with installation work made project management a natural fit for him because he understood the technical needs of the client so well.”

His passion for connecting with clients eventually led Brandon to transition to becoming a Project Manager, where he could be involved with every step of development and implementation. “Here at Selectron we value working directly with our clients from beginning to end. People have told me after coming back to Selectron this is not every company’s philosophy. The ability to directly interact and collaborate with our clients through the entire process really makes us a solution provider our clients love. Everyone at Selectron gets to see the impact they have on a successful project and that approach is amazingly rewarding.” 

Brandon brings a level of integrity and a client-centric focus that aligns perfectly with Selectron’s values. One of Brandon’s long-standing clients is the City of Orlando, Florida. “It feels great to say, ‘I helped make that system for Orlando and they use it every day.’ Here at Selectron, we get to see how our products positively impact our clients’ day-to-day operations. Plus, we get to make better solutions because we collaborate with our clients and listen to their needs.”

Director of Development Bryan Cooper has seen Brandon’s dedication to our clients first-hand. He shares, “Driven is the word that I think encapsulates Brandon. Customers are often juggling agency-wide deadlines and business challenges, and Brandon’s core strength is navigating those constraints and demands to deliver our solutions effectively and on time. After hundreds of completed implementations, Brandon’s understanding of who we are, what we do, and how to get it done is unparalleled.” 

A lot has changed in 20 years. While we are no longer hand-delivering servers, our dedication to providing hands-on help has not wavered. Brandon has been a vital part of Selectron’s growth as an organization and we are grateful to have him on our team! Congratulations on an amazing career thus far, Brandon.
