Selectron would like to sincerely thank Don Presten for his many years of dedicated service as a Senior Project Manager. With sadness and excitement, we announce Mr. Presten’s retirement at the end of this year. Selectron has been fortunate to have benefited from Mr. Presten’s expertise and leadership over the years, and we know he will be missed by his colleagues and clients alike. We wish him all the best in his retirement and sincerely thank him for his significant contribution to Selectron’s success.
During his time at Selectron, Don oversaw many projects, but several projects stand out in his memory.
“One of my favorite projects has been Orange County Utilities. It was a large, complex system both in terms of the timeline and features introduced.”
However, Don’s experience and expertise helped to ensure its success.
“I’m proud that we completed this project on time and budget. This is now taking 2.5 million dollars in payments every week.”
Don has done so much for Selectron and has been a driving force behind much of our success. From launching new projects to developing our company culture, Don has always been there to lend a helping hand. His passion for his work is evident in everything he does, and his dedication to our organization is second to none.
His colleagues also recognize his value as a coworker and as a friend.
“Don has been a major contributor to the growth of our company. During his time here we have taken on so many new projects which included greater complexity and scope. Don has been there every step of the way helping us sustain and improve the quality and commitment while delivering more powerful and valued solutions.”
Dan Porter – Chief Operating Officer
“Don’s innate empathy allowed him to naturally establish rapport to every customer in his sphere. That coupled with his natural gifts for breaking large initiatives down into action plans engendered confidence in every engagement that he was providing trusted solutions and real value. I’ve never worked with a more detail-oriented Project Manager and will miss his organized approach to all initiatives.”
Bryan Cooper – Director of Development
“Don’s contribution to Selectron has been invaluable over the past decade. I have enjoyed working side-by-side with him on the Project Management team. His positive attitude and engaging personality will sadly be missed here at Selectron.”
Corey Mackura – Senior Project Manager
As the saying goes, all good things must come to an end. After 12 years of dedicated service, Don leaves Selectron to pursue other interests. While we are sad to see him go, we are also excited for him to embark on this new chapter in his life. We will always be grateful for his hard work and dedication. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors. Safe travels, Don!
