Jury
Management
The VoiceJury module
is designed to assist your jurisdiction and your community in the
processing of inquiries related to jury appearances.
VoiceJury interfaces directly
with your jury management software. It allows numerous functions
to be performed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, saving your staff
valuable time and money. Using VoiceJury a caller can:
- Check their status for jury service and retrieve information about where and when to report, including parking and courtroom assignments
- Schedule and/or confirm the date, and if applicable, postpone
the jury appearance (this information can also be faxed to the caller)
- Facilitate requests for deferral by determining if specific criteria has been met that would allow a deferral. Callers receive an immediate response to their request, and your case management system will be updated in real-time
VoiceJury can also be
used to distributed notices to jurors using the Automated Outbound
Notification
module. The IVR system will make an outbound call to
specified telephone numbers and relay messages regarding schedules
or any other pertinent information.
Parking Citations
The Parking Citations module
is designed to assist your jurisdiction and your community in the
processing of parking citation payments and general inquiries. By
providing up-to-the-minute information, the jurisdiction will increase
customer service and reduce demands on staff. With Parking Citations, callers are able to:
- Check the status of parking citation(s) by citation number
or license plate number
- Check the status of account by license plate number (amount
owed, due date and payment received)
- Pay one or all citations via a credit card transaction
- Schedule a court date, administrative review or hearing to contest the citation (this information can also be faxed to the caller)
Payment Processing
With the Payment Processing module, users can pay fines and judgments 24x7 using PayPal's Payflow Pro® application to securely process credit card and e-check transactions over the phone. VoiceCourt will update your case management system in real-time, eliminating the need for court staff to manually enter these payments.
Rulings & Dispositions Reporting
This module can facilitate ruling and disposition reporting for Pre-Trial, Discovery, Probate and Law and Motion departments. Court staff simply call VoiceCourt,
enter a PIN and case number, then enter a detailed message. Attorneys associated with the case can call VoiceCourt whenever convenient to listen to messages regarding rulings or dispositions, and even post a message if they have additional questions. |
