Jacksonville, NC Chooses Selectron to Implement VoicePermits™ and VoiceUtility Express™ for an Enterprise Solution
PORTLAND, OREGON — October 31, 2006 — Selectron Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of interactive voice, web, and mobile solutions for government agencies throughout North America, announced that it has been awarded a contract to implement an enterprise interactive voice response (IVR) system at the City of Jacksonville, North Carolina.Jacksonville selected Selectron’s VoicePermits and VoiceUtility Express because of the need for a solution to support more than one department.
Once installed, the new VoicePermits and VoiceUtility Express solutions will help the City provide citizens around-the-clock access to information and services. With VoicePermits, the Building and Planning Department will enable contractors to schedule, cancel, and check the status of an inspection. The Utility Billing Department will utilize VoiceUtility Express so constituents can access account information and make payments easily.
