Paying bills with a credit card is a day-to-day occurrence that
your community is not only able, but also willing, to do. The Selectron
Technologies optional PaymentProcessing module enables jurisdictions
to accept payments via their Interactive Voice or Web Response
system. Users are able to pay fines, fees, or other charges, and
to make regular monthly payments to their account, using all major
credit cards, debit cards, purchase cards, ACH transfers (bank-to-bank),
or electronic checks.

The Credit Card Payments module utilizes the VeriSign® Payflow
Pro application to securely process credit card transactions. The
Payflow Pro API client software, installed on the jurisdiction’s
system, establishes a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) connection between
the IVR or IWR system and VeriSign's transaction servers. Transaction
data is securely routed via the VeriSign payment gateway through
the financial network to the appropriate bank. The funds for the
transaction are then transferred to the jurisdiction’s merchant
account.
