Modesto, CA Adds Selectron's VoicePermits™ Interactive Voice Response System to Its Accela Permitting System
PORTLAND, OREGON — August 10, 2007 — Selectron Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of interactive voice, web, and mobile solutions for government agencies throughout North America, announced that it has been awarded a contract to implement its VoicePermits interactive voice response (IVR) system at the City of Modesto. Once installed, the new VoicePermits solution will help the city provide around-access to information and services to its contractors 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The City of Modesto originally purchased Selectron's VoiceUtility IVR solution in 2003, and in 2005 it added WebUtility, which extends its reach to the community by providing an alternative method for distributing information via the Internet. The new VoicePermits system was installed on July 23, 2007.
