San Antonio Water System Chooses Selectron's VoiceUtility™ and WebUtility™ Interactive Voice and Web Response Systems for Enhanced Customer Service
PORTLAND, OREGON — August 25, 2006 — Selectron Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of interactive voice, web, and mobile solutions for public sector clients throughout North America, announced that it has been awarded a contract to implement VoiceUtility and WebUtility interactive voice and web response systems for San Antonio Water System in San Antonio, Texas.
San Antonio Water System will use the Enterprise Resource Software System (ERSS) to support its Customer Service, Work Order Management, Financial, and Human Resources systems. A single-entry resource that supports the Utility Department in a flexible manner was required. The robust feature set and scalable architecture offered by Selectron’s VoiceUtility and WebUtility solutions allow quick and easy accommodation to the city's anticipated population increase over the next few generations.
Once installed, the IVR and IWR solutions will offer streamlined phone and online access to customer account information, and allow customers to easily make service requests any time, day or night, or pay bills using a credit card or checking account . The systems will provide the Utility Department with first-level customer service to reduce staff involvement on routine inquiries, freeing up personnel to focus on questions and issues that require personal and timely intervention. The ten-year contract was awarded to Selectron along with Hansen, who together are creating the needed enterprise-wide solution.
“Like any high-performance organization, SAWS is committed to providing outstanding customer service,” notes SAWS CEO David Chardavoyne. “This information system project will help move us to a new level of operational efficiency. And that can only mean better service – and better value – for our customers. Now that we’ve signed the contract, we're ready to dig in and get down to the real work – work that will positively impact every area of our organization and the quality of service we provide.”
“We are pleased that the San Antonio Water System has chosen Selectron as a long-term business partner to address its IVR and web technology needs,” says Todd Johnston, President and CEO of Selectron Technologies, Inc. “This premier account is a nice complement to an already well-established install base in the region. We are confident the City of San Antonio and its constituents will be well-served by these world-class products.”
Installation of the interactive voice and web response systems is expected to
be completed by September 2008.
