InspecTrack™ Pocket Edition.
Inspectrack
Pocket Edition is a mobile inspection solution designed around the
natural daily workflow of building inspectors. Built on the Microsoft®
NET™ Compact Framework, the application can run on most Pocket
PC 2003 devices running Microsoft® Windows® Mobile™
2003 for Pocket PC.
The
system provides inspectors with a wealth of information to assist
with the inspection process. Each morning the field unit is loaded
with up to date inspection information. Inspectors are given a route,
or list of inspections, to be completed that day, plus current information
on relevant inspections. In addition to general inspection information,
which includes the site address, permit description, permit type,
and parcel number; inspectors can review the permit contact information,
inspection history, permit history, and much more. Unlike web-only
inspection systems, this data is stored on the Pocket PC, so it
can be reviewed and manipulated, regardless of the immediate availability
of network connectivity.
Available
as a complementary component to the popular Notebook Edition, or
as a stand-alone solution, InspecTrack Pocket Edition is an excellent
option for jurisdictions that prefer the lower cost and compact
size of the Pocket PC, but still require a comprehensive and robust
mobile inspection solution.
