Selectron Technologies Announces Extension of Its Small Community Product Line
PORTLAND, OREGON — January 24, 2008 — Selectron
Technologies, Inc., the leading provider of interactive voice, web, and
mobile automation solutions for local governments, announces an
extension of its Express product line beyond VoiceUtility Express™ to include all departments currently served by Selectron solutions. Established in 2005, the VoiceExpress product line is available as a monthly subscription or for purchase. The VoiceExpress
products are interactive solutions designed for smaller communities, typically
less than 20,000 in population, who seek the core functionality and
automation benefits of interactive voice response (IVR) systems.
"Smaller communities are being asked to offer the same self-service
features as larger communities, but they have less resources to
invest," says Todd Johnston, President and CEO of Selectron
Technologies, Inc. "As communities continue to be expected to deliver
new or increased levels of service with the same or fewer dollars,
self-service interaction becomes a critical solution. The ability to
allow skilled staff to address the more complex daily activities while
the IVR facilitates the routine interactions such as balance playback,
payment processing, and outbound delinquency notification
delivers value immediately. The Express product
line has delivered this core functionality for smaller communities
and we are excited to extend this line of products beyond the utility
department."
