Roseville, California Expands IVR Usage with Selectron Technologies' VoiceUtility™ Interactive Voice Response (IVR) System
PORTLAND, OREGON — January 14, 2008 — The City of Roseville, California's Utility Department has found a better way to send final overdue notifications with its choice of Selectron's VoiceUtility interactive voice response (IVR) system. During peak season and given staff constraints it was not previously possible to contact an adequate number of the nearly 500 customers with overdue accounts that were reaching final notice status each day. Together with the VoiceUtility system Selectron's Outbound Delivery Services module offered the Utility Department an automated method for sending context-based messages that provide individual account holders their specific payment requirements and the capability to immediately resolve them.
