Position: Senior Account Manager
Location: Portland, Oregon
Description:
Selectron Technologies, Inc. is recruiting a highly motivated and self-directed individual with strong sales skills and able to travel up to 50% to join our company as a sales executive. This position will report directly to the Vice President and be a member of a 2-person sales team. Our sales team will develop and present integrated business solutions within a defined territory on the west coast, while utilizing their consultative selling experience, time management skills, and industry knowledge.
The selected candidate will:
- Have analytical skills to assess client needs and recommend solutions that meet Selectron's interactive product roadmap
- Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Develop leads from available resources including partners, trade shows and independent research
- Present and articulate features, advantages and benefits to clients and prospects
- Conduct product demonstrations through the use of web technology
- Manage all sales related communication with clients and prospects
- Coordinate and drive efforts with operational and technical staff to develop client solutions
- Coordinate administrative activities by developing quotes, sales documentation, travel arrangements and processing contract requests
The successful candidates will have:
- • BA/BS or relevant work experience
- • 5 years experience offering technical and/or software solutions
- • Experience working with public entities is a plus
- • Technical sales background in telephony and/or software applications
- • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- • Commitment to customer service and quality
- • Experience in using Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
- • Must be self-motivated, able to work independently and provide hands on execution of project tasks
