Roseville, California expands IVR use with Selectron Technologies Voice Utility™ Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system
PORTLAND, OREGON — January 14, 2008 — The City of Roseville, California has found a better way to give final overdue notifications with its choice of Selectron's VoiceUtility Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system. During peak season and given staff constraints it was not possible to reach an adequate portion of the nearly 500 overdue accounts that were reaching final notice status each day. Together with the VoiceUtility system Selectron's Outbound Delivery Services offered an automated way to send contextual based messages that give individual accounts their specific payment requirements and the capability to immediately resolve them.
“We've enjoyed a great relationship with the City of Roseville's Building & Permitting department, so we are pleased to be working with their Utility department as well.” said Lewis Gouge, Selectron Technologies, Inc. Account Manager. “Their challenge of handling growth and seasonal fluctuations with payment issues is something that our VoiceUtility system can quickly address. Their added module of Outbound Delivery Services will reduce the costly task of stop and start service by rapidly contacting those in risk of a shut-off and allowing them to pay with credit card.”
