Marion County, OR adds WebPermits™ and Upgrades VoicePermits™ to Version 4 on its Tidemark Permitting System
PORTLAND, OREGON — December 18, 2006 — Selectron Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of interactive voice, web and mobile solutions for local governments throughout North America, announced that it has been awarded a contract to implement its Interactive Web Response (IWR) system at the County of Marion, Oregon. Once installed, the new WebPermits solution will help the County provide access to information and services to its contractors 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. An upgrade to Version 4 of VoicePermits will happen seamlessly as the WebPermits system is installed.
The County of Marion has been a Selectron customer since 2002, when the original VoicePermits system was installed. They chose Selectron for the upgrade and added functionality of WebPermits because of a strong, long-standing relationship between the two companies. Additionally, Selectron’s understanding and knowledge of the Accela® PermitsPlus permitting database means the upgrade and new install will work seamlessly with its existing system.
