Jacksonville, NC Chooses Selectron’s VoicePermits™ and VoiceUtility Express™ for an Enterprise Solution
PORTLAND, OREGON — October 31, 2006 — Selectron Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of interactive voice, web and mobile solutions for local governments throughout North America, announced that it has been awarded a contract to implement an enterprise Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system at the City of Jacksonville, North Carolina. Once installed, the new VoicePermits and VoiceUtility Express solutions will help the City provide access to information and services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. With VoicePermits, the Building and Planning Department will provide access for contractors to schedule, cancel and check the status of an inspection. The Utility Billing Department will be using VoiceUtility Express to allow constituents access to account information and to easily make payments.
Jacksonville selected Selectron’s VoicePermits and VoiceUtility Express because of the need for a solution to support more than one department.
